About us
TIDA, previously the “Interior Decoration Association of Thailand“ was established in 1985 by Professor Jakra Siripanich, former Dean of the Faculty of Interior Decoration, Silpakorn University in conjunction with other Thai professors and interior designers from various institutions. At the inaugural board meeting on 8 September 1985, Committee Members elected Khun Manus Rakjai as the first President of the Association. As a result, the association has established an international network of academics and professionals that work together cooperatively to maintain professional Interior Design standards and practice.
